It’s our favourite season – when outdoor living is at its very best. Whether you’re reading a book on the deck, hosting Christmas lunch or simply enjoying the quintessential Kiwi summer BBQ, we hope you’re making the most of your outdoors this summer.
This time last year I made a prediction. I said while we don’t know what 2021 will bring, we’re sure that with New Zealand behind us it will be great. I think I hit the nail on the head there. While 2021 hasn’t been without its challenges, the J&C brand and team has continued to go from strength to strength.
In the current environment finding staff can be tough, but we’re privileged to have the support of an incredible team of people. We’re also grateful for the awesome local companies – our suppliers – which we’re proud to work alongside. I want to extend a massive thank you to the J&C crew around the country who have worked tirelessly through some pretty uncertain times to provide the exceptional service and product J&C is renowned for. You’re all legends.
And to our customers – thank you for continuing to support J&C and our premium quality, Kiwi-designed and made outdoor living solutions.
This year we started our first customer newsletter and in it we had a little fun, with a Where Am I? competition. Congratulations to our winner Catherine who successfully picked Wanaka as the spot where this J&C Riviera Cantilever Umbrella is providing shade on our customer’s deck. Thanks to all those who entered…and Catherine, a gift basket is on its way to you!
As we close off 2021, I feel the whole of New Zealand is looking forward to a breather, time to reflect and relax and to prepare for the year ahead. We’re taking a break from 23 December but will be back on deck from 5 January. And looking to 2022, I don’t know what’s in store but, with your support, I’m sure it will be great.
